Kathleen “Kathy” Love is an attorney and partner at McGinn, Carpenter, Montoya & Love, an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based law firm. Rated a Best Lawyer in America, Kathy Love has been married to her husband, who is also an attorney, for over 10 years. They were married in the San Francisco City Hall.

The San Francisco City Hall, which is where Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe were married, is known locally as the People’s Palace. Completed in 1915, the city hall was designed by Arthur Brown, Jr. and is located at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place. Celebrations such as weddings can be held in the venue’s rotunda, grand staircase, balconies, and north and south courts.

The city hall hosts both one-hour and two-hour long weddings. One-hour weddings are designed for couples in search of an affordable event and take place at the Mayor’s Balcony or a gallery on the fourth floor. Up to 100 guests can be accommodated at those venues. Two-hour events can be held at the city hall’s rotunda and accommodate up to 200 guests.
